Went for guitar practice today, and we saw our future practice room, which looks like the size of our guitar storage room. -_- That is, really, really, small. But the good thing is, the music section of the block is totally air-conditioned! ^^ Oh yeah, it’s really nice, if not for the fact that there’s a lot of dust flying around. The JH block has lifts similar to that of HDB upgraded flats! The horror. And I really find the fact that the music practice rooms are in the JH block weird. At least, I think that the guitar practice room should be in the SH block, seeing that GE is currently a SH-only CCA. But then, it would be really, really dumb if we have a room popping up out of nowhere. XD So my point is invalid. -_- I feel stupid.

Anyway, we were doing chords for practice today, and it really got a bit boring after a while, though the instructor threw us a bunch of plucking patterns that we had to learn/practice. Now my fingertips are really hurting (and that’s what happens after every practice). I don’t think I’ll be able to practice again later. Everyone else also complained about their fingertips. T.T My poor fingertips~~~

Yu Leng even got a few Japanese song books with all the pop songs!! ^^ It was so cool. But we didn’t get the instructor to play the songs, though. Dawn got a few songs too! But only with the chords and she nearly got the instructor to play them. Haha, then she gave up and told me to help her play the songs… I don’t think I can even play them right, though… And I must remember to do finger exercises before I play any songs, and not after I play all the songs. XD Kind of dumb, I know I am.

And then Yu Leng and Siew Ting asked me if I wanted to play the chords for the song, while they played the melody, so I agreed, since it was a chance for me to practice(: Halfway through, Xiu Han joined in, and somehow Siew Ting managed to get herself lost on where she was playing (after one or two times, I think), so I started singing (I saw from the corner of my eye that she got lost) for her to catch up. But for some reason, everyone else who weren’t playing ended up singing. And I think Xiu Han stopped playing and started singing too… I think she should just join choir, since she likes singing more… >< Nah, I’m joking.

And so, after practice, we went off to Old Airport Road to eat our lunch, and somehow ended up talking about our UG recollections. XD Talking about how life in it sucks, anyway. We all agreed on this point – life in UG sucks. ^^ Like to the bottom of hell. Nah, just joking. But it’s really the first time I’ve felt so happy eating lunch, discussing our past *coughcough* life. *sighs*

And after lunch together, we went home. Okay, I did. But you get the point, we went our separate ways. No, wait, that sounds terrible. Forget it. I can’t explain it.

Lastly, something I thought up: It isn’t talent. Most of the time, it’s just how hard you work for something.

While watching Campus Shrewd, I think that Mediacorp has really outshone itself in wanting to earn money. -_- The SMS system is clever – $1/sms. And there are crazy people who send rubbish smses there too. XD And then, the sms thing is on top, the subtitles X2 (Chinese and English) and then the show. It’s driving me crazy. I have this habit of reading all the words on the TV screen, and it’s really irritating me now, cause I want to read: 1. the SMS messages; 2. the subtitles X2; 3. watch the actors. So it’s killing me to read everything at once. -_- Never mind, I’m just ranting now.
