Global Warming?!!!
Noticed this strange thing this year. During June and July, the usual “hot summer” times, the weather gets unbearably warm, as though I’d be melted if I stay in the sun for too long… No, not Hamlet’s “I am too much in’th’ sun, my lord” kind of sarcasm. But it got really warm… *sweats while thinking of it*
Then now it comes to the colder times of Singapore (sounds weird, but it’s sort of like autumn without the falling off of leaves, right?). It’s so cold the past few days that I couldn’t take off my jacket whenever I’m at home – in school, we’re in a container classroom, and that makes it hard for the air to circulate whenever it rains, we’ll just increase the temperature… xD Back to the point. What I was trying to say is that… What is the cause of the changes in the temperature? Is it really as what scientists have said, the cause is global warming??
If that’s the case, then I believe that the best method is for everyone to return to the lifestyles of the primative humans – NO MORE TECHNOLOGY!!! Nah, I’m joking. I’ll “die” without it. But really, to reduce global warming, that’s really the best method… xD But humans, being creatures of comfort, want to retain all these that we have worked towards for the past thousands of years. I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s a few THOUSANDS of years’ of work!! So one way, we’re trying to reduce global warming. On the other hand, we’re not going to let go of what we’ve accomplished as humans. Think about it. If you don’t let go of something, you’ll never get anything else. Isn’t it the same case for humans? If we don’t want to let go of certain things that we’ve built up, we’re not going to really ever achieve our aims in reducing global warming.
Okay, I’m losing track of my thoughts now, so I shall end it here before I start rambling rubbish.
