CIP
We did CIP today. Anyway. It was.. how do I say it? Terrible? I think Yee Herng and I chose the wrong destination. ><
“For $2, you get a nice heart which you can write your well-wishes for the beneficiaries of the organisation.”
Ahem. The hearts were not nice in the first place. And why anyone would want to pay so much to write is beyond my understanding.. >< Say that I’m practical, but that’s really my opinion.
We also discovered just how blind people can get when you ask them for money. One group even opened their umbrella right in our faces. Wow. Talk about Singaporeans being charitable. Yes, I know I shouldn’t generalise them like this.. But still.. The temptation is too strong.
Either way, we went to places like Chinatown, Bugis MRT (where we got chased out -_-) and City Hall, but no luck.. I think me + Yee Herng = unlucky pair… T.T
And I heard that the number of hearts represent the number of CIP hours they are giving… Hey, what’s this? So even if we tried but were just unlucky, we were not going to get the full sum?!! That’s unfair! Not that I really care, but since I spent my time, it had better be worthwhile. Call me practical. I’m just like that.
It’s late.. I shall go off now before I get killed by my mom again.. >< Yeah, I have more than nine lives.. So I survive to tell the tale.. -_-
